Catamarans are the future of boating. Cruising Catamarans are less likely to tip over than Cruising Monohulls are to sink. Catamarans don't carry thousands of pounds of lead, so they don't sink. Monohulls need to have a wide hull to get stability, catamarans can have very slim hulls since they have two widely spaced hulls. The slim hulls and no lead make catamarans slide through the water much better than Monohulls.
